Covenant Men International (CMI)
In Agodi centre, we have a vibrant branch of the CMI comprising our men above age 30 both in the Youth Church and the Adult Church.
They meet monthly on Saturdays over breakfast, discuss issues pertinent to men as leaders ranging from their career, business and economic empowerment, to health issues, and family matters, among others. They network for business contacts and career advancement and one weekend is dedicated to the CMI every year which ends with their taking the Sunday Jesus Celebration Service.
Covenant Women International (CWI)
Our women above age 30 both in the Youth Church and the Adult Church in the CWI have a track record of accomplishments. In addition to their monthly meetings one Sunday in the month, after the Jesus Celebration Service, they hold their annual Outreach which involves Medical Outreach, Evangelism which have brought many souls to the Lord and made significant impact in the health of many people – church members and non-church members alike. Former prostitutes and prison inmates have known the Lord and become members of the Agodi Centre through the CWI and other departments of the Church.
The CWI started an Educational Scholarship Scheme for indigent students in the Church. Some of the beneficiaries are now graduates, married and doing well in their careers. An apt way of describing CWI of Agodi Centre is that they are a salt to the church.
Marriage & Family Life
As a family church, special attention is paid to marriage and family life in Agodi Centre. Intending couples undergo a period of pre-marriage counseling by matured and Spirit-filled couples prior to the wedding.
Special Seminars on marriage and family life are organized at least once a year, usually rounded up with a “Couples’ Weekend Away” in a hotel or a “Couples’ Nite Out” on a Saturday evening.
It is our belief that a strong marriage gives rise to a healthy family which is the bedrock of a good society and a great nation.
Young Couples’ Forum (YCF)
In response to the teething challenges faced by newly-married couples, the Church recently inaugurated a YCF for couples with marriages less than 10 years old. Here, they have a platform to understand that challenges in new marriages are not uncommon and they receive Godly and Biblical wisdom to smoothen the initial rough edges.
The YCF also ministers to other young couples from outside the church and are coordinated by a couple in the leadership of Agodi Centre.
Royal Sisters
This is a forum for matured singles wishing to get married where they meet for fellowship, prayers, emotional and spiritual support. It is coordinated by the female pastors.
The widows and single parents also meet with the female pastors for fellowship, prayers and support.
Crown Fellowship
This is a forum for the elderly men and women (Aged 60 and above) in the Church. It provides an opportunity for fellowship and seeing to the spiritual, emotional and physical well-being of this important segment of the church.
